This Notice is to update you on the release of the Request for Tender (RFT) for Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) Service Providers to provide VHC services to eligible members of the veteran community. As current service provider contracts expire on 30 November 2017, the release of this tender is expected to be by the end of the first quarter in 2017. VHC is a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) program, which provides home support services to entitled persons with low care needs who require some extra help to remain living at home and in the community. The services include domestic assistance, personal care, social support, respite care and safety-related home and garden maintenance. The VHC program comprises two separate components:
* Regional assessment and coordination; and
* Delivery of Veterans’ Home Care services.
Note: this tender will only be for the delivery of Veterans’ Home Care services.
