Solar Energy System Tender

⁠⁠⁠The TPRC is seeking tender proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors for the design, management and installation of approved solar energy systems to homes within the Catalina Estate. The

TPRC will look to appoint a Contractor for a two year term, subject to satisfactory performance.  There will be the option to extend the contract for a further 12 months, at the absolute discretion of the TPRC.

The Solar Contractor will be appointed by the TPRC, however, will report directly to the Satterley Property Group as project managers on behalf of the Council.

The scope of services is to include but not be limited to the following:
* Design of a suitable solar energy system to be approved by the TPRC.
* Provision of all materials and labour required to install a fully operational and functional system.
* Consultation with the homeowner relating to the operation and benefits of the system.
* Options for the homeowner to upgrade the system (at their cost).
* The cost of the system must be held for the term of the Contract.
* Professional and courteous communication with the homeowners.
* Provision of an approved information package on the proposed system.

* Provision  of  a  pre-installation  consultation  with  the  homeowner  within  14  days  of  receiving notification from Satterley Property Group that the homeowner has met the rebate requirements, which will include the following;

* Homeowners energy needs and benefits of the solar energy system.
* Options to upgrade the system and additional costs.
* Confirmation in writing from the homeowner to the installation of the solar system.
* Provision of a post-installation consultation, which will include the following:
* Information on the operation and management of the solar system.

* Signed consent from the homeowner that installation and operation of the solar system is complete. This form is required to be submitted with any invoicing to Satterley Property Group.

* Provision of a solar energy system with a minimum 2Kwh output
