Tender Description
The Work Under the Contract includes
* Preparation of Management plans, traffic control plans, Safe Work Method Statement, vehicle movement plan, provision of required insurances, temporary fence etc.
* Clearing of site, storage of materials on designated area only.
* Construction of chain mesh barbed wire fence (Approx. 5km) to replace existing fence around airport boundary (Actual length to be determined on site by tenderer). Replace existing gates with new at existing locations.
* Disposal of existing fence & waste materials to tip or as directed by Superintendent.
* Runway 10/28(Sealed) will be extended by 100m in east as shown in figure 1 above.
Note: Airport will be operational during construction work. Necessary arrangement shall be made as required by CASA & Walgett Council for safe operation of airport. Work shall be stop temporarily or all obstacles shall be cleared as required for safe take-off & landing. Existing fence can’t be dismantled until new fence is erected unless provision of temporary fencing is made. New fence to be installed as close to existing as possible from inside (not more than 0.5m).
