Knox Street, Double Bay Tree Lighting

⁠⁠⁠The works comprise the supply and installation of decorative LV LED bud lighting to five trees located in two separate median islands in Knox Street, Double Bay. There is one group of three trees at the eastern end of Knox Street and another of two trees at the western end of Knox Street.

The works will require the supply of power to both tree location sites. This will involve sourcing power from existing LV pillars or as an option arranging for the installation of a new LV pillar. Both sites will require the installation of Special Small Service with metering and distribution board located within them.

Due to tree locations trenching will be required to connect power from Special Small Service to tree sites. This will entail trenching interruption to footpath paving and road surface, both of which will require reinstatement to match surrounding surfaces and Council specifications.

The works are to be done in accordance with the specification document ‘Knox Street Tree Lighting’ by ARUP & Partners Ltd, Oct 2016 attached to the quotation document.
