Tender Description
This invitation to Tenderers is for the upgrade of a sewer pumping station located at the Manilla Showground in Manilla, NSW 2346 and includes, but is not limited to, the following works:
* Excavation and installation of pipes and conduits and concrete slab.
* Removal of existing pumps, pedestals, rails, pipe and electrical equipment from the existing sewer pumping station wet well.
* Installation of two equal size pumps, pump pedestals, pump guide rails, pipe & fittings into the existing wastewater pumping station wet well. Pumps to be free issued by Tamworth Regional Council.
* Install components with penetrations into existing pump well and concrete cleaning of existing pump well prior to installation.
* Installation of electrical equipment, wiring, conduits and associated works including connection to new electrical supply to the top of service pole. Switchboard only to be free issued by Tamworth Regional Council.
* Supply and installation of pipework, valves, ventilation, fencing, metalwork.
* Bypass pumping of the existing pumping station as required to undertake the works.
* Commissioning of new pumps and electrics.
This is a schedule of Lump Sums contract not subject to cost adjustments.
The contractor will be required to supply all labour, plant and other materials for the upgrade of the Sewer Pumping Station.
All tenderers are required to attend a mandatory site inspection and briefing meeting.
