Tweed Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists for an artwork to be installed in the underpass at Wommin Bay Road, Chinderah. The artwork may incorporate one or more elements including painting, lighting, applied relief work or the like.
The primary purpose of the project is to create an attractive and memorable gateway statement for Chinderah, Kingscliff and the broader coastal region. The commissioned artwork is to reflect the identity of the local community and the community’s idea of place.
