Tender Description
In consideration of its commitment to becoming self-sufficient in renewable energy, Council is seeking to install a solar power system at its Murwillumbah Works Depot, on two buildings - the Stores/Warehouse building and the administration building. The Depot is a light industrial site where a number of activities, including welding and heavy machinery maintenance, are carried out.
Council is looking to contract with one Provider who will be the equivalent of a 'Head Contractor' and responsible for all elements of the Services - that is supply and installation of the solar power system at the Site. Rather than prescribing the system required, Council is relying on the professional expertise of Bidders to recommend the most suitable system for each of the two Depot facilities in consideration of its energy usage requirements and the overarching goal of achieving the best value for money.
