Design and Construction of the Harcourt Mountain Bike Trails

The Design and Construction of the Harcourt Mountain Bike Trails 332675

The department is seeking a contractor to design a number of mountain bike trails and construct 18 mountain bike trails and the trail head (“Big Dipper”) near Harcourt.

The trails are to be designed and built to world class standards so that the site is capable of hosting an international mountain bike competition.

Further, the department is also seeking a contractor to design and construct a 63 space carpark at the mountain bike trail site near Harcourt.

This carpark will require appropriate drainage and armouring works and no parking fees will apply.

These two initiatives will be offered as separate packages with the above RFT package - tenderers are advised that they can submit for one or both of the packages.

Tenderers are to note that there are two options for a MANDATORY tender briefing and a MANDATORY site visit.

The first briefing is proposed for Friday 2 December 2016 at 10 AM for 30 minutes in Level 01 Rm 03, 56-60 King St Bendigo.

There will then be a 30 minute break to allow for travel to Picnic Gully Road, Harcourt for the 11 AM Site Visit.

The second briefing is proposed for Thursday 8 December 2016 at 10 AM for 30 minutes in Level 01 Rm 03, 56-60 King St Bendigo.

There will then be a 30 minute break to allow for travel to Picnic Gully Road, Harcourt for the 11 AM Site Visit.

Attendance at ONE briefing and the matching site visit is MANDATORY and subject to a registration process.

Tenderers that do not attend one tender briefing and one site visit will be ineligible to participate in the tender process.

Tenderers DO NOT need to attend both briefings and both site visits but are welcome to do so, if they choose.

All tenderers are to confirm their attendance at one of the tender briefings and site visits in writing with the names of the people attending and the company name to Peter D’Costa by 4 PM on Thursday 1 December 2016 or by 4 PM on Thursday 7 December 2016 by email: peter.d’costa@delwp.vic.gov.au.

Documentation relating to this RFT will be available for download from the Victorian Government Tender website located at www.tenders.vic.gov.au in the week beginning 28 November 2016.
