Victoria Police is seeking a panel of Providers to supply vehicle towing services within the Melbourne metropolitan area, for vehicles impounded by Victoria Police under the Road Safety Act 1983.

Tenderers can apply to provide Impoundment Towing and/or Disposal Towing:
* Impoundment Towing is Trade towing of vehicles from a Response Zone collection point to a Victoria Police facility in Preston (Tenderers can specify which Response Zones they can tender for).
* Disposal Towing is Trade Towing of vehicles between a Victoria Police facility in Preston and a Steel Recycling facility within 50km of the Melbourne GPO.

Victoria Police reserves the right to determine the number of Providers involved in the Services and does not guarantee provision of any business to any Provider.

The duration of this contract will be for a period of 3 years from 1 June 2017 until 31 May 2020; with an option to extend of 1 × 24 months until 31 May 2022 dependent on satisfactory performance.
