Taronga conservation society of Australia is seeking to appoint an operator to deliver all in-ground and function catering service for Tronga Zoo the Iconic and market-leading tourism destination, located in the heart of Mosman overlooking stunning Sydney Harbour.
A contract is being offered for 5 years under exclusive licence agreement and includes in–ground and function operations and the delivery of Catering for Taronga’s diverse visitors programs. It also includes the provision of Catering services for the Taronga Wildlife Retreat. This unique purpose-built immersive accommodation Retreat is in the planning stage and is provisionally scheduled to open in 2018. This is an exciting new phase in delivering education and unique experiences that make Taronga Zoo one of the most visited venues in Australia.
An expression of interest process will qualify suitable operators. Operators should have the experience and capacity to deliver and actively grow in-ground and function catering operations at Taronga Zoo. Operators should carefully consider all requirements including the capacity for staffing for the delivery of services.
Expression of interest close on Monday 12th December 2016 at 5 pm. Shortlisted operators will be invited to Tender for this contract after the 16th December 2016. Tenders for this contract will close on Monday 20th March 2017 at 5 pm.
