Expression of Interest - 519 Mitchell Highway, Bathurst - Rural Land

⁠⁠⁠Bathurst Regional Council has available for lease 3.8 hectares of rural land located at 519 Mitchell Highway, Bathurst for agistment only.  The lease term available is twelve (12) months. There is town water available on the land together with a dam.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the payment of water usage. There is also a small storage shed available.

The approved stocking rates for this portion of land is approximately -

2 horses, 8 merino ewes plus lamb, 8 cross bred ewes, 16 merino ewes, 2 steers, 1 cow and calf

The successful applicant will be required to strictly adhere to Council's policies on noxious weed control and fencing requirements as well as Land Management Guidelines.

Please submit your Expression of Interest quoting No. 22.05345 in a sealed and marked envelope "Expression of Interest - 519 Mitchell Highway, Bathurst" by 4.00 pm on Tuesday 22 November 2016 in the Quotation Box located on the ground floor, Civic Centre, 158 Russell Street, Bathurst.

Please include any previous leasing history, references and your proposed lease payment (GST inclusive).  If this information is not supplied with the Expression of Interest, the Expression of Interest will not be considered.

Council willl also be undertaking RSPCA checks on each applicant.

A bond deposit of $1,000 will be payble by the successful applicant and held in trust during the tenancy.

The lobbying or liaison with Councillors prior to the consideration of Expressions of Interest by Council will lead to the rejection of the offending Expression.
