Tender Description
The Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from interested parties to provide a planning assessment service to assist the Planning Office on an as needs basis. The service would include all actions necessary to process and assess development applications, from the time they are submitted to the determination being made, but will primarily focus on:
* Assessment of proposals against the requirements of the Norfolk Island Plan 2002 , development control plans and planning codes as required under the Planning Act 2002 ; and
* Preparing Planning Assessment Reports and making recommendations on development proposals; and
* Preparing Notice of Decision on development applications including conditions of development approval.

* Hourly rates.
Selection and Utilisation Process: All expressions of interest will be evaluated under the Norfolk Island Regional Council Procurement of Goods and Services Guidelines.
Lodgement: Expressions of Interest should be sealed in an envelope marked 'Expression of Interest 56/16 - Planning Assessment Service' and placed in the Tender Box located in the Registry Office, ground floor, New Military Barracks, Kingston, no later than 4:00pm Friday day 18 November 2016.
