Contract no: 2016.87 Provision of Heritage Advisor
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified companies or individuals relating to the provision of expert advice on a range of issues arising from within the City’s heritage areas. Hobsons Bay City Council is a diverse community that values its past and wishes to encourage development that is respectful of the historical fabric that contributes so significantly to making the City a desirable place to live.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide guidance to Council on a broad range of heritage issues, including: demolition and development applications; advice to residents on alterations and additions to heritage significant buildings; suggesting improvements to the heritage controls; and the provisions of evidence before VCAT.
Attendance at the municipal offices, or on site, will normally be required for one day a week or as otherwise agreed.
