Yarra Valley Water is seeking to enter into a contractual agreement with a Cathodic Protection service provider who is willing to work cooperatively with Yarra Valley Water and commit to the key objectives of our business to deliver to our customers quality, cost efficient and environmentally responsible water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services. This tender is for the maintenance, testing and minor construction works associated with:
1. Sacrificial Anode Systems
2. Impressed Current CP (ICCP) Systems and Safety Earth Beds
3. Yarra Valley Water works required by the VEC
The objectives of this contract are to ensure that:
4. YVW meets all of their legislative requirements relating to Cathodic Protection;
5. YVW’s metallic assets are sufficiently protected from corrosion in order to increase their operational life;
6. YVW’s existing Cathodic Protection assets are maintained to meet operational and safety requirements.
