The Department of Education and Training (DET), through the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership (Bastow) is requesting tenders for the provision of Bastow’s for the provision of Evolve: New Principals program.
The purpose of this ITS is to select an organisation with whom Bastow can work to design and deliver a contemporary, relevant and innovative program that supports newly appointed principals (those appointed to a principal position for the first time in their career or principals who have been appointed from outside the Victorian government school system) to transition into their role, and to build their capacity and confidence to practice as effective leaders in their school community.
The Contract will be for four Intakes (up to 40 Particpants per Intake) each year in 2017 and 2018, with options for another four Intakes (up to 40 Particpants per Intake) in 2019 and then again in 2020.
The Evolve: New Principals program, previously called Professional Support for New Principals, and has been offered through Bastow since 2013 supporting approximately 450 principals to transition to their role as a first-time principal.
