The project will deliver the facility through the refurbishment of an existing building with the construction cost estimated in the order of $3,000,000 ex GST. CSIRO are seeking to engage for a fixed fee, a consortium of architectural and engineering firms to deliver the services required to provide full documentation, construction stage and post construction stage services for the project. As CSIRO will engage one entity for the required services, the consortia services shall be offered through a head design contractor.

The design consortia shall provide all necessary services expertise to deliver the facility’s requirements including management of hazardous materials and specialised processes in a range of systems scaling from small to large as well as building compliance as required by the NCC2016.

CSIRO are seeking to complete design in Q1 2017 and engage a construction contractor within Q2 2017.
