The Department of Education (DET) is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to carry out a full complete turnkey design and construction solution for new demountable cabin style accommodation at the Currumbin Community Farm Campus (“The Works”).

Submissions from Principal Contractors is sought for the design development, documentation, construction, and commissioning of seven fixed demountable cabin buildings (bedrooms and bathrooms) with covered deck verandah’s, disability access, external works, and associated services. The prefabricated buildings shall be a standard purpose-design to provide a level of comfort, amenity and appearance equivalent to a standard conventionally constructed permanent building.

Experience with projects on live school sites is preferred. The project will be procured under a Design and Construction AS 4300 contract with special conditions.
