Requirements
Swinburne is calling for Tenders to create a pre-qualified Panel for the provision of Architectural Services for Small Value Projects.

Swinburne currently envisages Small Value Projects to be those with an estimated construction budget of no more than $5 million incl. GST. It is envisaged that Swinburne will pre-qualify approximately four (4) to six (6) providers for these Services however this will be dependent upon the number and quality of the responses received.

Note: Swinburne excludes from its total construction cost estimates items such as property acquisition, consultants’ fees, furniture and equipment, authority charges, temporary accommodation, administration and agency commissioning costs. It is envisaged that architects successfully appointed to the Register will become involved in some or all of the following activities for nominated projects:
* Planning brief and master plan
* Functional brief and feasibility study
* Schematic design
* Design development
* Contract documentation
* Tender
* Construction
* Project management / superintendent of works duties

It is important that only Tenderers with relevant experience, well established businesses and the capability to undertake the services in accordance with the evaluation criteria and the performance levels required respond to this RFT. At a minimum, Tenderers without the appropriate depth and breadth of experience, capability, and ability to meet the required performance levels are unlikely to be, nor will those that fail to meet the Mandatory Criteria or perform poorly on the Scored Criteria.

Contractors must be able to provide Services if required to any of the campuses nominated below:
* Croydon - 12 - 50 Norton Road
* Prahran - 144 High Street
* Hawthorn - John Street
* Wantirna - 369 Stud Road
* Other Victorian campuses as nominated from time to time.

Pre-Qualified Suppliers shall only be engaged to carry out services as required, therefore, the volume of work is uncertain and Swinburne makes no guarantee of work being made available to the Pre-Qualified Supplier Registrants.
