Level Crossing & Pedestrian Crossing Works Panel RFT

⁠⁠⁠This panel formation is designed to support the level crossing and pedestrian crossing Programs to be delivered by the Project Delivery Group (PDG) business unit of VicTrack such as the State Level Crossing Upgrade Program and Safer Country Crossing Program.

The Victorian Railway Crossing Steering Committee (VRCSSC) determines the site lists to be upgraded for each financial year based on Australian Level Crossing Assessment Model (ALCAM) site priorities and in consultation with the respective Accredited Rail Transport Operators (ARTO).

The State Level Crossing program is a recurring level and pedestrian crossing upgrade program undertaken on behalf of the PTV; project managed by VicTrack. Approximately 15 sites per year are selected for the State Crossing Upgrade Program to be upgraded.

The purpose of this RFT is establishing a panel comprising suitably qualified suppliers to design and build, test and commission, remove or upgrade level crossing and pedestrian crossing across metropolitan and regional railway lines.

The panel will be grouped into two panel areas:
* Preliminary Design (Typically issue for construction (IFC) civil design and preliminary signal design)
* Detailed Design and Construction (Typically detailed signal design and construction. However, VicTrack may use it for Design and Construction or Construction only)

The panel agreement is expected to be 2 years with three 1-year extension options. At VicTrack's sole discretion, extension option may be executed based on VicTrack's requirements and assessment of supplier performance.
