Installation of Water Meters Various Sizes and Locations

⁠⁠⁠This contract is for the replacement of aged water meters ranging in size for installation at various locations throughout the Wannon Water region, as nominated in Schedules 1 & 2 of the Tender Schedules.

This is will include
* Following the Electrically Bridging Metal Pipe Work Procedure provided
* Installation of two (2) coupling washers with each meter.
* Blead out air after installation
* Sealing of meters in Schedule 3 of the Tender Schedules that are to be retained for testing by Wannon Water
* Recording of old and new meters as outlined in this specification

In the event that non- functioning stop taps are found which prevent meter replacement, or the meters cannot be installed due to some physical obstruction that cannot be removed without considerable effort, or possible damage to property, appropriate evidence shall be provided to the Superintendent with further direction to be provided as required. The contractor shall continue works elsewhere.

Tenders in sealed envelopes clearly marked "773 Installation Of Water Meters Various Sizes & Locations" should be lodged in the Tender Box at Wannon Water's Office, 25 Gateway Road, Warrnambool, VIC 3280, prior to 3.00pm on Wednesday, 12 October 2016.

Alternatively, tenders may be lodged by the due date by electronic upload into the designated online tender box.
