Tender Description
Council is seeking Tender submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to remove the existing footbridge and undertake the supply and installation of a new footbridge at Darvall Park, Eastwood.
Council is committed to the delivery and maintenance of high quality infrastructure and facilities including the maintenance and rehabilitation of footbridges and major culverts.
The existing bridge is in poor condition and may pose a safety risk in the future. The proposal is required to continue to allow safe access to the park and walking tracks for the public. The proposal would replace the existing single span bridge with a three span bridge with the new the footbridge span being 18.1m and 1.5m wide precast concrete bridge.
A compulsory pre tender meeting will be held on site at Darvall Park, Eastwood at 2:00pm Tuesday 18th October 2016. Names will be recorded and if contractors cannot attend they will not be considered for the tender.
