Tender Description
Council has an annual program of clearing vegetation from around powerlines to ensure that the Shire complies with the Electricity Safety Act 1998, and Electrical Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2015.
The work involves the systematic moving through each street in the urban areas of Echuca, Kyabram and Rochester and pruning back trees/vegetation to maintain clear space and allow for regrowth and have adequate clearance from overhead power lines in accordance with the Act.
