Tender Description
Destination Melbourne on behalf of 24 Local Councils and State Government partners is seeking to appoint consultants to develop Greater Melbourne's Destination Management Visitor Plan to improve and increase Greater Melbourne's visitor economy capacity for the next five to ten years.
The project is split into two stages:
Stage 1 quantitative and qualitative analysis; and
Stage 2 the strategic development of the Greater Melbourne Destination Management Visitor Plan.
The key aim is to develop an overarching Destination Management Visitor Plan for Greater Melbourne underpinned by sub-regional plans for Inner Melbourne, Melbourne West, Melbourne North, Melbourne South East (inner & outer) and Melbourne East council regions.
The strategic Destination Management Visitor Plan must provide clear recommendations on how to maximise Greater Melbourne' s visitor potential and how to improve its competitive position overall.
