Provision of Food Services

⁠⁠⁠The Yarra Ranges Shire Council (“the Council”) invites tenders from suitably experienced, qualified and resourced parties for the provision of Delivered Meals to eligible residents across the Shire as part of Council’s Food Services program (“the Services”).

The Contract will be for a period of two (2) years and four (4) months with an option to extend the contract for a minimum period of one (1) month to a maximum period of two (2) years with an expected commencement date of 3 February 2017

Tenders are invited from organisations or consortia suitably experienced and qualified in the management and provision of food services who are able to plan, co-ordinate and deliver the best possible services in response to legislation and community needs and expectations.

The Services will form part of the Home and Community Care (HACC) and Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP) Programs. The Tenderer must be familiar with the legislative requirements and standards for the HACC Program and CHSP. Refer to the Specification for further details.

The Council intends to engage one or more suppliers to provide the Services to the whole or specific areas of the Shire. The different areas in the Shire which the Council wishes to provide the Services to are as follows:
* Ranges;
* Valley;
* Urban
* A map of the shire highlighting the above areas has been included with the tender documents in Appendix 3.

Ad-hoc meal requirements for Sherbrooke Children’s Centre:

Council also intends to engage a Contractor to provide meals to Council’s Sherbrooke Children’s Centre on an ad hoc basis. The requirements of this service are provided in the Specification section of this document.
