Tender Description
This contract is for the widening of the existing Governor Rd & Burdekin Blvd intersection to implement a right turn lane, traffic signals and public lighting.
Works consist of approximately
* 1000 cubic metres of cut
* 4000 cubic metres of fill
* 4200 sqm of flexible pavement widening
* 500m of concrete kerbing
* 170m of 750mm drainage pipe
* 200m of guard rail
* 9 Light poles with all associated works
* 8 traffic signal pedestals with all associated works
Council has the expectation that work will commence on site on the 27th March 2017.
To be eligible for this contract, Tenderers must have:
* Vic Roads pre-qualification for Road Construction to level R2 - F2;
* Vic Roads pre-qualification for Traffic Signals (installation) STS1 for the contractor undertaking the traffic signal installation works; and
* A comprehensive OH&S Management System that must be approved by the City of Kingston as part of the evaluation process for short-listed tenderers.Quantities are provided to assist contractors with their tender submission.
