Tender Description
This offer has been called to engage a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to design and construct an Anchored Soil Nail Retaining Wall. The successful contractor will widen the north side of Tumbulgum Road Murwillumbah, construct a retaining wall, to permit a new footpath cycleway and allow road re-alignment.
The Contractor will engage a suitably experienced Geotechnical Engineer to supervise and certify the construction works on completion. The wall construction is required along the northern side of Tumbulgum Road between Sunnyside Lane and Old Ferry Road Murwillumbah. The tree lopping will be by Council.
The Contractor will be responsible to remove remaining vegetation, excavate to wall profile, drill and install soil nail anchors, install drilled drainage, shotcrete the face and texture the wall finish as approved. The contractor shall construct a chain mesh fencing and drainage that shall be connected under the footpath at the base of the wall to grated pits.
