Tender Description
The Burke Shire Council is looking to fence / gate the perimeter of the Burketown Landfill and to fence / gate incineration pits within the facility.
In total, this will represent about 780m of fencing and the installation of three double leaf gates: 1 x 8000mm gate at main entrance and 2 x 4000mm gates, one for each of the incineration pits.
The project is funded under the Drought Communities Program to fund local infrastructure initiatives that provide employment for people whose work opportunities have been impacted by drought. Accordingly, maximising local involvement and contributions, including local sub-contractors and use of local suppliers, will be viewed favourably.
