Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T21-17.

The works will be undertaken at eight (8) intersections from Weston Street, Revesby to Alma Road, Padstow. Works will generally involve construction of Kerb and Gutter sections, concrete footpaths, driveway crossings, kerb ramps, pedestrian refuge islands, roundabout, bike safe grates as well as signage and linemarking. Asphalt re-sheeting also forms part of the works.

Works at all intersections must be completed on or before 17/02/2017. Tenderers must provide a construction program and a list of resources to demonstrate their capacity to achieve this deadline.

It is to be noted that no work will be taking place from 19/12/2016 to 06/01/2017 inclusive due to the Christmas break. This period must be shown on the construction program.

The proposed roundabout at intersection Weston Street and Woodburn Avenue must commence on 09/01/2017 during the school holiday to minimise the impact on local traffic conditions.

Tenderers are advised to submit methodologies which clearly demonstrate staging of the civil works of which are to be within the following parameters -
* The guidelines of an approved Road Occupancy Licence (ROL) from Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) and any out of hours work that may be required as part of the local road conditions. Faraday Road and Alma Road are classified as Regional Roads that require ROL.
* The guidelines of an approval from services authorities such as Jemena, Telstra, etc.
