Maintenance of Irrigation Bores, Pumps and Associated Works

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of either a Sole or Multiple Tenderers of suitably qualified and experienced Contractor(s) to carry out the maintenance and emergency repairs, on its extensive irrigation pump and bore infrastructure.

The successful Tenderer(s) will be required to organise the disconnection/reconnection of pumps, removal for servicing and repair, replacement of parts, servicing of bores and the fabrication of headwork's as required.

In addition the successful Tenderer(s) will be required to provide up to date records of the infrastructure, flow tests, water quality tests and replaced parts.

The Contract does not include the following:
a. New production bores (Drilling of);
b. Infield Irrigation Systems (New or Maintenance of);
c. Irrigation System Electrical Cubicles (New or Maintenance of).

These services / works will be provided either by the calling of separate tender(s) (RFT) or by formal Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The Contractor(s) will be required to provide all labour, plant, equipment, supervision, surveying, materials and all other items as required necessary for the works.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for one (1) subsequent year period and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.

A full statement of the works required under the proposed Contract appears in the Specification Part 2 and Special Conditions of Contract Part 6.

Note: no Alternative Tenders will be accepted.
