Tender Description
Parks Victoria’s vision is to be a world‐class parks service, ensuring healthy parks for healthy people. It is a statutory authority with responsibility for managing an expanding and diverse estate covering more than 4 million hectares, or about 17 per cent, of Victoria. Parks Victoria is committed to delivering works on the ground across Victoria’s park network to ensure parks are healthy and resilient for current and future generations.
The National Landcare Program (NLP) administered by the Australian Government, through the EGCMA, has recently funded pest plant control projects in coastal areas of East Gippsland, including areas of the far east coast of Victoria. Delivery of these funded projects is managed by a range of agencies and community led organisations. Parks Victoria is accountable for managing parts of these projects, and the specific outputs required to be delivered within the Parks Victoria estate. A number of these sites are within the Croajingolong National Park, as well as other reserves and State Parks.
The organisation is seeking invitee’s response to the invitation for the supply of goods and/or services.
Parks Victoria seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and range of approachs that may be available.
