Tender Description
Monash University has been investigating ways to improve the operation of their car parking facilities to achieve the following:
* Optimise the operational efficiency of the campus car parking facilities
* Improve the user experience for those that access the campus by car
* Be able to dynamically manage the varying parking demand profiles (including for events) experienced across the day, week and year
* Unlock the demand management potential of usage based parking costs
The anticipated solution will include the following key components:
1. Dynamic Signage software, receiving data input from various sources across the Clayton network:
a. Induction loops (to be installed by the successful respondent)
b. 545 Parking bay sensors to be installed by the successful respondent for the N1 car park
c. Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras at the N1 and SE5 multi-level car parks (a trial)
2. A Command Centre from which point the Dynamic Signage software will be used to monitor and manage the Vehicle Dynamic Signage solution.
