Christmas Decorations Installation, Dismantle and Storage

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking suitably experienced contractors to facilitate Council's Christmas decoration program. The program requires installation commencing November 2016 throughout various locations within the City of Greater Geelong and removal of decorations by early to mid January 2017. The emphasis of Christmas in Geelong is to strengthen, expand and extend the city's Christmas decorations program.

The contract term is for 3 years.

This service has high risk tasks including working near powerlines and as such tenderers will need to have appropriate OH&S systems and processes in place.

It is a mandatory requirement for the successful contractor and their staff to have or commit to complete Powercor approved installation and Maintenance of Attachment on Distribution Company Poles training before any of the work can be undertaken.

Council is conducting a non compulsory site inspection of various Christmas decorations as follows;

Tenderers must complete the returnable tender schedules and pricing schedule which can be downloaded along with the program and specification documents.
