The City of Melbourne (CoM) seeks to engage a company to provide a strategic solution for the operational and creative delivery of key events and activations in the Docklands precinct. A consistent and compelling Docklands event product is required to address the following strategic objectives:
* Influence perceptions and motivation to visit the Docklands precinct
* Enhance the visitor and community experience
* Provide a platform for local businesses to leverage
* Raise the interest of the event industry in Docklands as a unique location
* Drive the visitor economy.

The successful contractor will work closely with the CoM team to successfully develop and deliver a considered and strategic suite of key note events and cultural experiences that that may include (but not limited to):
* Live music, performance and artistic installations (with focus on local artists)
* Community engagement and participation
* Activation of the waterway
* Light based activity/installations or fireworks (night time impact)
* Artistic installations (interactive/participatory)
* Food culture (with consideration made to existing hospitality providers/current food offer)
* Multicultural celebrations
* Local business/stakeholder group engagement and participation
* Unique 'Melbourne' experiences.
