Tender Description
Council invites tenders to perform storm tide modelling for Moreton Bay Regional Council. The scope of works is to perform numerical modelling and data analysis in order to estimate current and future storm tide AEP levels within the MBRC region. The hydrodynamic and statistical modelling must combine the astronomical tide, storm surge plus wave setup for a population of storm events.
Key tasks in the project are:
* Data collation, review and analysis
* Confirmation of production simulation approach
* Model development
* Model calibration and validation
* Sensitivity testing
* Production simulations (using monte-carlo, joint probability or conditional probability techniques as agreed)
* Post processing of production run outputs creating AEP levels and design simulation data sets for use in Part 3 inundation modelling
* Reporting
* Modelling Basis Report
* Study Report
* Digital data handover
