You are invited to submit a tender to Information Technology Services ("Principal") in accordance with the specifications stated in Part A of the RFT for the Data Protection Tender QT0148 ("Project Requirements").
BACKGROUND. ITS storage and data protection underpins Flinders University's (University) ability to deliver critical services to customers.
The overall goal of the data protection renewal is to establish a robust foundation that will enable the University to meet the current and future needs of staff, students and other University stakeholders as it pertains to the protection and recoverability of all data stored on enterprise University storage systems.
With this foundation, the University can be confident that data and services are recoverable in a timely manner under a number of different scenarios ranging from data corruption to data centre loss.
SCOPE. In Scope:
Delivery of data protection solution infrastructure and maintenance or 'as a service' to meet the data protection requirements of Flinders as shown in Part B of the RFT.
Services to enable implementation of in scope goods or services.
Training on configuration, optimisation and administration of the services or goods.
Out of Scope: Storage array.
