SCU Invites RFQ for the Delivery of Expert Support Services

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of the RFQ is to elicit quotations for inclusion in the network of Farm Co-operatives and Collaboration Pilot Program Expert Support Panelists. The Program is seeking responses from providers who are able to perform some or all of the services detailed in part 3 of this document.

Successful Proponents will be contracted on a Standing Offer arrangement to provide expert support to the Program's farmers in line with the objectives as follows:
* To assist farmers examine the implications of alternative business approaches to their individual business enterprise
* To support informed decision making by farmer groups on proposed actions for further investigating or progressing the adoption of collaborative or innovative business approaches
* To facilitate farmer access to expert information and support on collaborative business models and innovative approaches and their implications
* To enhance the awareness, knowledge and understanding of farm advisors on co- operatives, collective bargaining and other forms of collaboration in the agriculture sector
* To leverage on-ground support agencies to build localised knowledge and support

networks for groups of farmers exploring and/or adopting new business models during and beyond the life of the Program.

Services are to be provided from contract commencement until end of financial year 2018.
