Tender Description
The Works to be carried out under the Contract are detailed on the attached drawings and comprise:
* Construction of aircraft strength apron and taxiway fillet pavement areas including bulk earthworks, granular pavements and asphalt surfacing to airport specifications;
* Removal of existing earthing points and previously decommissioned fuel hydrant points and reinstatement of pavement to receive surfacing;
* Asphalt resurfacing overlay of existing apron pavement to airport specifications;
* Protection and relocation of existing electrical services and pits affected by the proposed pavement works; and
* Minor modifications to airfield lighting and stormwater drainage.
The Tenderer shall provide documentary evidence to prove they have the necessary competence, resources, industrial relations, quality and safety management and financial capacity to carry out the Works.
In addition, the Tender's attention is drawn to the requirements of the Technical Specification, for which details of certain materials proposed in the Works shall be supplied with the Tender. This information shall be taken account of in the evaluation of tenders.
As a minimum, the information stipulated within Annexure 3, Tender Submission Documents, shall be provided by the Tenderer's and will form part of the Principal's assessment.
Tenders shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Principal in Annexure 3 Tender Submission Documents, and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and the envelope marked legibly as follows:
