Assisted Rental Pathways Pilot - Invitation to Apply for a Grant.
The Housing Authority (Housing) invites community services organisations to apply for grants to work with Housing to design and deliver an Assisted Rental Pathways Pilot (the Pilot).
The Pilot:
The Pilot will support up to 200 waitlist applicants and over-income public housing tenants in private rental accommodation for a period of up to four years, with a tiered rental subsidy, and individualised assistance to build their personal capacity and financial independence so they can achieve independence in the private housing market. The Pilot has a total budget of $14.1 million (including GST) in funding for subsidies and services over a period of up to four years.
The Process:
A grant application process will be used to identify community service organisations with experience assisting people to improve their personal circumstances, and a willingness to work alongside Housing to design, implement and evaluate the Pilot to determine critical success factors, costs and benefits.
