500.2016.0035 - Whitsunday Regional Council (WRC) is the certified operator of Whitsunday Coast Airport.
In the Whitsunday Coast Airport Master Plan and Feasibility Study dated July 2015 (The Master Plan) identifies various precincts within the airport boundary and development types appropriate to each precinct.
The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to seek interest for development proposals compatible with location in Precinct 3 which known as The Aeronautical Precinct at the Whitsunday Coast Airport.
The Aeronautical Precinct is uniquely located to provide landside access to the General Aviation taxiway which ultimately leads to the airport’s main runway and taxiway system. The precinct has approximately 300 metres of road frontage on Lascelles Avenue which provides access to the Whitsunday Coast Airport Terminal.
