Blacktown City Council (BCC) is seeking tenders for proposed Amenities Buildings Upgrades at the Whalan Reserve Whalan, Blacktown.

Councils Recreation Planning and Design have identified infrastructure needs of the Whalan reserve in line with the 2008 Masterplan. Two priority projects have been identified with input from stakeholders that will assist in activating the reserve. The two priority projects proposed in this project are,
1. A new Rugby League and regional scale football code amenities building (Referred to as Building No 6)
2. Extension to the Cricket Amenities building (Referred to as Building No 5)

New Amenities building includes 4 large Changing rooms, toilets, canteen, storage and meeting room. Project will also include an car parking area with landscaping, trees and paths

Construction of Car Park & associated landscape works are not part of this tender.

The extension of the Cricket Amenities building will provide storage for Council’s field keeping equipment along with additional storage for the club’s equipment.

The site is located at Reserve 163, Debrincat Avenue Whalan, to the West of the Blacktown Regional Centre.
