Drainage Pit Cleaning

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the of drainage pit cleaning works.

The Infrastructure Maintenance Unit makes a significant contribution within Council by providing a safe and well maintained drainage network. The requirements for the Service of this Contract are to provide pit cleaning services, to assist the Infrastructure Maintenance Unit.

The drainage system comprises approximately 210km of concrete underground pipes, 50km of brick drains, PVC and some asbestos cement pipes. The majority of brick pits are located in Stonnington west of Kooyong Road with the remainder of pits being generally concrete.
