Tender Description
The City of Ryde is committed to the effective management of its drainage assets and water quality. Therefore Under the Better Waste, Recycle More grant from the EPA (2015-2016), the project will aim to address gross pollutant impacts (litter) by collecting these and suspended solids, from the upper Gladesville catchment through the installation of a stormwater treatment device in this area.
This large catchment currently does not have a stormwater treatment and removal device to minimise pollutants loads ending up in the Parramatta River.
Installation of a treatment device will aid to support water quality efforts under Ryde's Water Quality Monitoring Program and improve river health.
As a result of the above The City of Ryde is seeking Tender submissions from suitable tenderers for the supply and installation of a Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) for Bill Mitchell Park, Gladesville as per documented specifications (see Section E and F) and all associated civil works.
