Dabchick Park is an undeveloped dry park which consists of four (4) parcels of land. The total coverage is approximately 0.7 hectare, with no shrubbery. Five (5) mature Eucalyptus camaldulensis and one (1) remnant Melaleuca preissii are present within the park, and all are to be retained.
Contracted works are to be undertaken in two (2) stages.
The redevelopment of Dabchick Park is a much needed amenity improvement for the local community. This project will result in a space that is attractive, functional and assists in re-establishing local vegetation to support and increase local fauna populations.
Dabchick Park is classified as a local park within a residential area. Currently, three (3) residential properties abut the park, though this will likely increase in the future.
