Hinchinbrook Island (Thorsborne Trail) Boat Transfer

⁠⁠⁠The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing (NPSR) is calling for expressions of interest from an individual, partnership or company wanting to conduct a boat transfer service as a commercial operation for the transport of bushwalkers of the Thorsborne Trail on Hinchinbrook Island.

This is a unique commercial operator opportunity to transport bushwalkers to and from the mainland, including Cardwell and Lucinda (Dungeness Boat Ramp), to both ends of the Trail. Applicants need to carefully consider and meet the requirements of the Guidelines for Submissions document, in particular the selection criteria.

The EOI will be open from 18 May 2016 and close at 2 pm on 29 June 2016 (six weeks).

All the submission and lodgement details are contained within the Guidelines for Submission document and the application form must be completed and lodged. No late submissions can be considered.

Please note that a non-refundable fee of $311.50 (incl. GST) will be required after the submission has been received by NPSR. An officer will contact the nominated contact persons to arrange payment prior to assessment of any submission.
