ENG.009.15/16 - Wattle Range Council invites Tenders for the receipt and disposal of organic waste from kerbside collection. Council offers a kerbside bin collection across the main towns in the Wattle Range area, which includes the fortnightly collection of green waste in some townships. This tender is for the receipt and disposal of all organic waste received via the household collection system, an average of 1,150 tonnes per year.
A small portion of the green waste received at Council’s waste transfer stations and resource recovery centres will also be included in the contract. The tender does not relate to the collection or transport of organic waste.
The period of the contract will be from 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2019.
