Invitation To Tender No. 10/2016 Erby Place Open Space Upgrade - Corner of Erby Place and Phillip Street, Parramatta.
Tenders are invited from experienced civil engineering and/or landscape contractors for the upgrade of open space at Corner of Erby Place and Phillip Street. The scope includes the following:
* Demolition and disposal of existing kerb and gutter, retaining walls and paving;
* Construction of new kerb and gutter, pram ramps, and retaining structures;
* Granite and concrete paving;
* Installation of in-ground lighting and tree-lighting including electrical wiring and control systems;
* Landscaping and sub-surface irrigation; and
* Associated works.
The upgrade work is a component of an ongoing strategy to improve and enhance the quality of public open space within the Parramatta CBD. Council expects a very high level of workmanship and a quality final product that meets expected outcomes.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender late June 2016, with works anticipated to commence in July 2016.
No pre-tender meeting is proposed, However, it is recommended that prospective Tenderers shall visit the project site to familiarise themselves with the site conditions, surroundings, constraints and verify the 'Scope of Works'; and if questions arise, submit these via the Tenderlink forum (see option below) or to email: tenders@parracity.nsw.gov.au.
