Kerb and Gutter Works (Panel of Providers)

⁠⁠⁠Tweed Shire Council is seeking to establish a Panel of suitably qualified and equipped local Providers for Kerb and Gutter construction works to be undertaken at various sites within the Shire on an as-needed basis. Whilst there is no guarantee as to any amount of work under this Contract, Council’s 2015 expenditure on kerb and gutter works was in the vicinity of $120,000, which is considered a reasonable representation of Council’s general annual spend on these services. Selection of Providers for portions of work will be undertaken on the basis set in the RFO Document, with value for money the overall priority and consideration for Council. As the need arises for works, Council will contact one or more Panel members to establish their availability for the required works. Hire decisions will be based on the pricing submitted in each Panellist’s Offer and past performance, which together will form the basis for determining the best value for money Provider for each particular scope of works. Patterns of availability of Providers and the prioritisation of Council works over other projects will also influence Council’s procurement decisions under this Contract.
