The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training (VET) sector. A rigorous, transparent judging process to determine finalists and winners is critical to maintain the prestige and integrity of the Awards.
There are 18 categories for the 2016 Australian Training Awards. Of these, there are seven direct entry categories and the remaining are the culmination of the state and territory awards where these nominees to the Australian Training Awards must have won an equivalent award at state or territory level.
Of these 18 awards, there are 10 categories of the Australian Training Awards which require these evaluation services.
The Australian Training Awards secretariat manages the process for the selection of a judging panel for each of these award categories. Each judging panel is assisted by an independent evaluator.
