Invitation to Quote – Mulching of Green Waste at Corangamite Regional Landfill

⁠⁠⁠Quotations are currently being invited for the mulching of green waste at the Corangamite Shire Regional Landfill.

As of 6th April 2016, there are two stockpiles to be mulched. There’s a pile of green waste approximately 3,000 uncompacted cubic metres in size, from the Regional Landfill transfer station, Naroghid (Stockpile 1). This pile is not static and is continually being added to. There’s a separate pile of approximately 3,000 – 4,000 uncompacted cubic metres of green waste from the council’s other transfer stations, excluding green waste from the Regional Landfill transfer station, Naroghid (Stockpile 2).

The green waste is mostly uncompacted woody material, such as prunings, branches and stumps. The successful contractor will be responsible for loading and mulching of the green waste material. The mulched product will be composted on-site and then used in the rehabilitation of the landfill.
