An invitation for Expression of interest for the Design and Construct of the Western Distributor Project will be issued in early May 2016. The project team is seeking contractors with the previous expertise, capacity and commitment to undertake a multi-billion dollar road and tunnel project.

In order to prequalify for participation in the EOI process and to gain access to the virtual data room, a registration form can be downloaded from our website and must be submitted to wdcontractors@transurban.com by COB 22 April, 2016.

The Victorian Government and Transurban are partnering to deliver the $5.5 billion Western Distributor, which will address some of Melbourne’s biggest growth transport and liveability challenges.

The project include extra lanes on the West Gate Freeway, a tunnel under Yarraville and an elevated road above Footscray Road to directly connect the West Gate Freeway with the Port of Melbourne, CityLink and the city.
